Eating the Blame

Circumstances arose one day which delayed preparation of the dinner of a Soto Zen master, Fukai, and his followers. In haste the cook went to the garden with his curved knife and cut off the tops of green vegetables, chopped them together and made soup, unaware that in his haste he had included a part of a snake in the vegetables.

The followers of Fugai thought they never tasted such good soup. But when the master himself found the snake's head in his bowl, he summoned the cook. "What is this?" he demanded, holding yo the head of the snake.

"Oh, thank you, master," replied the cook, taking the morsel and eating it quickly.

I really enjoyed reading this story as the week comes to an end. You really can't whine about mistakes you just got to take it as is, and make the best of it. Now as you all know I was suppose to jump on a flight to VA for my book release/art display party. Well after waiting at the airport till 2pm I got the hell out of there!! I could have cried about it, I could have yelled at someone, I could have even waited longer-however I knew if I wanted to succeed in my vision of attending this event I would have to take matters into my own hands and not waste a moment.

So I got a little help from a friend and started trunkin' down South during rush hour traffic. I don't know if someone was testing me but I swear I hit ever traffic jam from Long Island to VA. I sat patiently, keeping positive thoughts about making the event, and trying not to feel tired from the already long day. In the end I made it to the event only an hour late, and didn't miss a thing. My model friend Yulia was very happy I made it. When she told me how happy she was I made it, I actually felt like I wanted to cry out of happiness. It felt good that someone appreciated my effort. Well I celebrated by getting a nice steak and some german choclate cake! ~yummy~

As for my opinon on the new book:

I'm excited to say I love the results and all the good vibes that was put into this book.
Here is an article about the dining event. The event had a write up in the local paper (Mc Lean Connection) in VA http://www.connectionnewspapers.com/article.asp?article=89905&paper=65&cat=104

Please check out the new book "In Sappho's Secret Garden" by Jerry Harke and Keith Winston

I know this book is suppose to be erotic photography with poetry, but damn this book is really beyond the basic erotica-its hot lots of lesbian action and good sex story type poetry to back it up! It does make me rather randy! I love looking at lesbian pictures over and over and over and over ...again and again lol!!!

BTW here are some NYC Halloween Day Parade 2007 pictures
